Two concepts have been swirling in my mind these past weeks: first, the challenges we face when considering alternatives to traditional schooling for our kids, and second, what it means to challenge societal norms.
We’ve reached a point where one is not possible without the other.
It’s easy to become the target of disdain when you seek something different from what everyone else is doing.
It’s much simpler to mock, isolate, or avoid someone than to sit with the discomfort of how one’s choices don’t align.
It doesn’t take much to create a villain in a corrupt society.
